PDF attachment of applicant’s three-page research proposal, including title, abstract, primary goals and objectives, methods, time schedule, significance of your research, and plans for dissemination of findings. Please include figures, tables, and references in the three pages.
Proposal should be double-spaced 12 pt. font (Times New Roman or similar)
Margins should be one inch on all sides
Applicant’s name on the top, right corner of the proposal
Itemized budget of METER instrumentation (in the form of a METER quote for US applicants and a Hoskin Scientific quote for Canadian applicants) not exceeding $10,000
Statement of support and/or letter of recommendation from a faculty advisor for the project

Applications must be received by January 18, 2019 (5 PM PST). Applicants will receive notification of the committee’s decision by March 1, 2019. The decision of the committee is final. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
