Completed application form (a link to the online application form will appear at the bottom of this article on Oct. 27, 2023).
PDF attachment of applicant’s three-page research proposal, including title, abstract, primary goals and objectives, methods, time schedule, significance of your research, and plans for dissemination of findings. References should be included but do not count toward your three-page proposal.
References do not count toward your proposal 3-page count.
Content in appendices will not be considered by the selection committee. Only the content in the 3-page body of your proposal will be considered.
Proposal should be double-spaced 12 pt. font (Times New Roman or similar).
Margins should be one inch on all sides.
Do not put your name on the proposal itself.
Itemized budget of METER instrumentation (in the form of a METER quote for US applicants, a Hoskin Scientific quote for Canadian applicants, and a Ruber Eim De México quote for Mexican applicants) not exceeding $10,000.
Statement of support and/or letter of recommendation from a faculty advisor for the project.
