MUNICH— After many years of collaboration, Decagon Devices, Inc. and UMS AG have formalized their relationship by merging. In doing so, we have adopted a new name. We are excited to present our new company, METER Group AG (METER), at the 2017 European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly in Vienna, Austria, 23 – 28 April.
The EGU General Assembly draws geoscientists from all over the world, covering all disciplines of earth and space sciences to explore the latest research and developments. This will be the company’s first introduction to the European market.
METER Environment, a division of METER Group AG, combines scientific and engineering expertise to create systems for measuring water along the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum. This year, METER will be presenting five new products, including the:
- ATMOS 41 all-in-one weather station,
- ZENTRA ZL solar-powered data logger with cell communication,
- TEROS 12 soil moisture sensor,
- HYPROP 2 soil water retention curve analyzer, and
- PARIO automated soil particle size analyzer.
